CLEANING:
The best way to clean your Woolrest Golden Fleece or Double Fleece is to take it to a reputable dry cleaner. Delicate dryclean only, with low moisture.
It can also be hand washed in warm (max 30 degrees) water. Rinse well , and drape over something like the railings of a deck, to dry. Do not tumble dry except for a short time, on room temperature.
Don’t get too carried away with cleaning your Woolrest, unless it gets very grubby it shouldn’t need frequent cleaning – once a year at the most.
After washing, the wool may revert back to its natural curly state. You can help restore its fluffy appearance by brushing the wool gently. A wire pet brush or comb is suitable.
REGULAR CARE:
To ensure many years of satisfaction from your Woolrest, make sure you keep it in good condition. Every few months, gently vacuum it to get rid of the dead skins cells etc. Occasionally put it outside in the shade, to air it out. You can also gently comb the wool to lift the fibres.
